38 works will enrich the Samsung Art Store collection

Samsung Electronics, the official partner of the Art Basel Art Fair, has announced the premiere of a new, exclusive art collection today. Digital visualizations of works from this collection and from the already offered over 3500 other works can be downloaded from the Samsung Art Store for The Frame, The Framed Pro and Neo QLED and QLED and MICRO LED TV store.
Representing the most extensive offer of the Art Basel fair so far, the new collection in Basel contains 38 selected works of world -famous artists and gallery, constituting a new milestone in the mission of both partners consisting in bringing the art of world class art closer to the wider audience.
The collection from the fair in Basel is distinguished by the fact that he puts an accent on diversity, representing a wide spectrum of countries, media and artists’ voices. For the first time, the collection included works from Africa, which deepened the cultural richness of the Samsung brand initiatives and Art Basel. Part of the collection will be presented at the Art Basel Fair, which will take place on June 19-22 at Messe Basel, Switzerland. The event will be open to the audience on June 19-22, after the vernissage for selected guests on June 16-18.
Selected vision of global expression
38 works from the Basel collection have been carefully selected from over 100 entries based on the criteria of the diversity of artists, media and countries of origin. The collection celebrates both rising talents and recognized visionaries, following the mission of the Art Basel fair consisting in promoting contemporary art from all corners of the world.

Lroméo Mivekannin, “a young woman with peonies according to Frédéric Bazille” (2023) – fascinating recovery of a classic portrait from a postcolonial perspective.

Lbasim Magda, “Intergalactic messenger teletem to us to a cave settlement guided by the principles of compassion and humility” (2022) – vibrant exploration of utopian futurism.

Lzandile tshabalala, “Pink Bękki” (2024) – an emotionally intense portrait celebrating black femininity and nature.

Lantonia Kuo, “Willo” (Dyptyk, (2024) – a striking duplicate composition combining digital manipulation with analog techniques.
The collection also includes the work of such icons of contemporary art as Jo Baer, Kibong Rhee and Lynn Hershman Leeson, which further enriched the visual and thematic depth of this year’s selection.
Artcube – Interactive experience at Art Basel
To emphasize the synthesis of art and technology even more, Samsung will organize the Interactive ArtCube Salon at Art Basel. The Samsung Artcube salon is located in Halle 1, on the main exhibition floor of the Messe Basel building. This addictive presentation will show how The Frame, Micro LED and Neo QLED 8K TVs again define digital artistic experiences, displaying works of art – including those selected from the Art Basel collection – with breathtaking detail and depth.
Artcube invites visitors to immerse themselves in the exclusive collections of the Samsung Art Store store and the free experience of the highest image quality. Visitors can also create personalized portraits of moving works of art available only in the ArtCube salon. In addition to organizing the salon, Samsung will conduct a series of panel discussions with the participation of influential people from the modern artistic scene, inspiring conversations about the growing role of technology in artistic expression and the availability of art.
Strengthening cultural partnership
Samsung and Art Basel have established cooperation to show selected digital collections to the world. For the first time, companies collaborated at the Art Basel fair in Miami Beach in 2024, later in Hong Kong in 2025, and now it’s time for Basel. Work from Hong Kong introduced to the Art Store store in March gained global popularity, ranging in the top ten most watched collections.
