The developer has completed the construction of the structural base of the future European record holder, which will dominate the skyline of one of the most famous resorts on the Mediterranean in just two years. The scale of the project is impressive: hundreds of foundation piles, thousands of meters of drilling and an apartment building taller than most European residential towers.

European residential architecture is getting ready for a change of leadership. The construction of the gigantic TM Tower apartment building is underway, which upon completion will become the tallest residential building in the European Union. The investment will be 230 meters high and will have 64 floors.
The developer, the Spanish company TM Grupo Inmobiliario, has just announced the completion of one of the most important stages of construction – the construction of the ground floor ceiling and the structural base of the tower. This is a breakthrough moment for the entire project, because from now on the investment will begin to grow vertically and gradually change the city’s panorama.
Foundation for a structure heavier than eight Eiffel Towers
The scale of the project is best visible in numbers. To prepare the structure for the future skyscraper, 355 foundation piles with a depth of up to 16 meters were made. The total length of the drilling was 3,588 meters.
5,319 m³ of concrete and 245 tons of steel were used for construction. The base prepared in this way is to support a building weighing approximately 85,000. tone. The developer compares this mass to 8.5 times the Eiffel Tower or about 200 large passenger planes.
The cost of the foundation stage itself was estimated at approximately EUR 2 million. The entire investment will cost approximately EUR 140 million.
64 floors of luxury and views of the Mediterranean Sea
TM Tower is being built on the Poniente beach in Benidorm and is expected to become a new symbol of luxury residential construction on the Mediterranean Sea. The tower will feature 260 apartments and over 10,000 sq m. m² of common spaces.
Residents will have at their disposal, among others: heated swimming pools, wellness zones, sports facilities, a private cinema room and a panoramic sky bar with an astronomical observatory on the highest level of the building.
The architecture of the tower was inspired by the organic structure of sea coral. The creators of the project emphasize that this biomorphic form is to distinguish the building from other European high-rise buildings.
More and more apartments have already been booked
Although the investment is scheduled to be completed only in the summer of 2028, interest in the project is already very high. According to the developer, over 40 percent has been reserved. apartments.
TM Grupo Inmobiliario has been developing its investments on the Costa Blanca for years. Over the last decade, the company has invested over EUR 400 million in Benidorm.
