20 minutes to a beautiful spa. A new attraction has started
Cruises to one of the most famous Polish health resorts began in July. We will use the attractions until October.
To Ciechocinek on board a ferry? This is possible if we take advantage of the recently launched cruise on board the Nasuta Copernicus. Since July 5, the well-known operator has been running regular weekend crossings from Stajenczynki in the Obrowo commune (20 km south of Toruń) to Ciechocinek. The bank of the Vistula, where the famous health resort is located, was thus connected with recreational towns in the forest areas, where many residents of the capital of the region moved. The cruises will last until October. We know how much such a 20-minute trip costs.
To Ciechocinek on the ferry for PLN 35
Nasuta Copernicus is an operator from Toruń, following the medieval tradition of transport ships. Now we will sail on board not only on a scenic cruise around the city of Copernicus or to neighboring Bydgoszcz – from July 5 this year. Weekend seasonal crossings to Ciechocinek have been launched. For now, it is in a pilot version – the project is to be maintained until October and if there is great interest, there is a chance that it will return next year, perhaps in a broader, more extensive form.
Toruń is becoming more and more popular among tourists (including foreign ones). This is a great opportunity to discover what is on the other side of the Vistula. Especially since the price of a trip across the river to the famous health resort is only PLN 35 one way or PLN 50 round trip. “The route is served by a traditional wooden Vistula boat. Up to 12 passengers can board at one time, while in the variant for cyclists, the unit can accommodate 5 people with bicycles,” we read on the website Pozatorun.pl.

The cruise will also attract those who do not necessarily want to visit Ciechocinek or use the spa attractions. The Vistula itself is also charming, as it has retained its picturesque and natural character in this section. “It is a former Russian partition, the landscape of the river in this section looks completely different than, for example, Toruń or the cities located on the lower Vistula. Here we have an archipelago of islands, oxbow lakes, lots of Vistula sandbanks and a beautiful panorama from the observation deck in Stajenczynki,” says Marcin Karasiński, vice-president of the Nadwiślańska Tourist Organization in an interview with RadioZET.pl.
